Mirabelle Cafe overlooks the Cathedral of St. Try a biscuit with your own custom fillings! We ordered a light and fluffy biscuit with butter, jam and bacon. If you don’t eat anything else while you are in Savannah, you need to eat at least one build-your-own biscuit from Back in the Day Bakery. We also really love the turmeric orange juice. The sandwiches, freshly baked pastries and delectable buttermilk biscuits are too good to resist. We love visiting for their endless sweet treats and fresh baked goods. The vibe, food and drinks all make this place one of our favorite spots in Savannah.Īlthough it is difficult to choose a favorite among so many great restaurants in Savannah, Back in the Day Bakery is very close to the top. This is one of our favorite places to grab drinks too. The Duck & Baguette small plate and the Ropa Vieja steak tacos were two of our favorites. Things like burgers, tacos, grits and meatloaf all make an appearance on the menu with fun culinary twists and flavor pairings. The Ordinary Pub on Broughton Street in Savannah is anything but ordinary. If you’re looking for the best places to eat in Savannah, then you came to the right place! We haven’t tried every restaurant in Savannah but we are sharing a few of our favorites from past visits to the city. There is also private parking in a gated lot behind the home, another bonus to this property than many properties in Savannah don’t offer! We always love having a kitchen when we travel to make small meals and store snacks, especially when we travel as a family. ![]() The Lady Gwinnett property is beautiful and spacious. Savannah on Wheels is less than two blocks from the home, which is one of the reasons we love this location. While it’s further walking distance from Broughton Street and River Street, we rented electric bikes from Savannah on Wheels and explored the entire city easily. The property is spacious and located only a few blocks from Forsyth Park, which is why we chose this property. It’s a newer home (built in 2018 – I think!) and it offers three bedrooms on two floors. We also really love Southern Belle Vacation Rentals and stayed in their Lady Gwinnett property located near Forsyth Park during another visit. Stay for the weekend or even a week in this unit made for two or rent one of the many other properties in Savannah suitable for large families or a girl’s weekend getaway. The unit is well suited for two adults as it offers one bedroom, a small living area and kitchen.īeautiful natural light fills the main living area. The unit is even more beautiful that the photos on their site and exceeded all of my expectations. We chose this rental for its central location in the historic district, beautiful open living area and luxury accommodations.
